THE KÜTNE READER

This is a blog dedicated to the history of the West Kootenay/Boundary region of British Columbia, the territory of the Sinixt and Ktunaxa people.

 

Originally it was supposed to be Kutne Reader, a take off on Utne Reader, the noted American magazine, named for founder Eric Utne. But then I learned Utne is pronounced uht-nee, not oot-nee, hence the umlaut.
